Andrés Iniesta admitted his team didn't feel comfortable "at any point" during the 3-1 defeat away at Real Sociedad in San Sebastián.
Facing the media in the mixed zone, Iniesta sounded a battle cry on behalf of the Barça players, insisting that there is still "a long way to go" before the end of the season. He did, though, concede that "dropping three points is a big deal when it is so tight".
"We struggled to settle on the ball. Real Sociedad is always a tough opponent and the defeat is a big blow. You don't feel good after a game like that, but the league isn't over yet; there are still lots of matches to go and we have to approach every game as if it were the last. Today we didn't get it right and we paid the price", the playmaker explained.
However, the Spain international didn't want to dwell on the performance or the loss, stressing the need to "move on" and "look ahead". "This defeat shouldn't make us give up. Now we have to roll our sleeves up and turn things around. There are still lots of points to play for, including matches against our title rivals", he concluded.
